About Tiger Day of Service

One way for TSU Tiger Alumni to come together and give back, is through #TSUTigerDayofService! Serving your community comes in many forms and can include volunteering at your local hospital, food bank, community center or wherever you can help those in need.

Our next Tiger Day of Service will be March 7, 2025. Multiple service projects across the country will be scheduled for you to volunteer in a city near you. If you are unable to join one of our scheduled #TSUTigerDayofService projects, but still want to give back in your community, contact a community resource center in your area and join an existing program. Creating a local #TSUTigerDayofService project does not have to be time consuming or difficult. There are a number of resources available through national or local service agencies such as Habitat for Humanity, Easter Seals, or Goodwill Industries. You can also try searching one of the links below.

Inspire others to volunteer in their communities by thanking your fellow alumni for joining you. Share photos of your project online and use #TSUTigerDayofService. Thank you for making a difference in your community! 

After you’ve completed the project, come back to the webpage to report your volunteer hours. Every hour alumni serve counts towards our alumni give back!
