Alumni Scholarships
The Emergency Fund Scholarship is currently open for Seniors only
The Texas Southern University National Alumni Association takes pride in supporting our students in their scholastic endeavors. We understand the financial struggles our Seniors might endure as they are close to completing their studies. Alumni want to assist with eliminating barriers that prevent our Seniors from graduating.
Given by TSUNAA and generous alumni, these scholarships are based on financial needs and will be awarded through an application screening by our Scholarship Committee.
Scholarship Information
Alumni Scholarship Eligibility:
• Must be enrolled as a TSU undergraduate senior and have at least a 2.5 GPA.
• Must submit documented evidence to support hardship if requested.
• Must interview with the scholarship committee to support hardship if requested.
Key Information:
Eligibility: Applicants must attend Texas Southern University student beginning the fall quarter. You must be enrolled for a minimum of 12 undergraduate hours. The Scholarship Committee shall consider scholarship, leadership, extracurricular activities, community involvement and financial need in making their selections. There are no restrictions to applicants based on sex, race, nationality or country of origin.

Award Range:
This is a one-time award. No more than $1,500 will be awarded. Selected students are required to meet alumni.
