Alumni Volunteers Needed
Alumni volunteers are needed to assist with facilitating The Yard Experience on October 26, 2024. We are anticipating around 800 students plus their parents so we need our alumni to sign up for volunteer positions.
Tasks
Decor Set Up (Friday): Place yard signs around the campus of the directions to get to Sawyer Auditorium
Decor Set Up (Saturday): Set up decor, place table linens and supplies, put up banners, etc.
Registration: Check in students and distribute swag bags
Greeters: Greet students and parents as they arrive, provide directions, assist students/parents where needed, etc.
Volunteer Check In: Check in volunteers, distribute volunteer t-shirts and snacks, and direct volunteers where they need to assist.
Campus Tour Guide: Give structured tours to students and parents of the campus
Academic Fair Host: Greet students and parents as they arrive, assist the colleges with anything needed to facilitate the fair.
Event Breakdown: Take down decor, etc.
Tailgate Set Up: Students will be fed at the tailgate so tables and chairs, linens, and decor will need to be set up.
Tailgate Host: Man the tailgate space to ensure the area is kept clean, coolers and food are replenished, assist students/parents where needed, etc.
Tailgate Server: Serve food in the serving line
Game Host: Lead students from the tailgate to their reserved seating
